Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA)

RCIA is the ministry for those who wish to be baptized/received into the Catholic Church or baptized Catholics who wish to receive their remaining Sacraments of Initiation (Holy Communion and Confirmation).  The formal formation program is active from late September until the Easter Vigil Mass, where the sacraments are administered.  Liturgical Rites of Initiation accompany the catechumenate/candidates on their journey and are celebrated with the OLOM parish community at the weekend liturgies. 

ALPHA Summer series (JUNE-AUG) is a good starting point to prepare for RCIA.

ADULT CONFIRMATION 
For adult Catholics who desire to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation only and do not wish to attend RCIA, we do offer a six week series in preparation for Confirmation. These candidates have the option of being confirmed at the Easter Vigil here at OLOM or at the Adult Confirmation Mass celebrated by Archbishop Wilton Gregory at the Cathedral of St. Matthew on Pentecost Sunday.
