SCAMP was founded in 1989 by members of Mercy to provide a summer camp experience for children from the parishes of St. Thomas More and Assumption in SE Washington.

SCAMP (Summer Camp at Mercy Parish) is returning this summer during the week of June 24, welcoming campers from Assumption and St. Thomas More parishes from DC. This is a wonderful parish service, and a truly transformative experience for both our campers and our teen volunteer counselors.

 

We are in need of teen counselor volunteers and adult camp support helpers. Teens will get 35 hours of community service, and are asked to commit to the whole week.
